Washington gives this support even though the Pentagon admitted internally as early as 2012 that extremists including A/Q were, as the DIA report said, 'the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.'

How is Canada’s war in Iraq and Syria going? I put that question to veteran Middle East journalist Robert Fisk.

His answer: Badly.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-election-2015-neil-macdonald-isis...

The leaders of the Liberal and New Democratic parties, Stephen Harper tells his election rallies, are such a couple of timorous wet smacks that they can't possibly be trusted to shield Canadians from the evil that constantly bears down upon us all.

"Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair are so wrapped up in some form of twisted form of political correctness that they won't even call jihadist terrorism what it is," Harper told cheering supporters in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., this month.

"If you cannot even bring yourself to call jihadist terrorism what it is, then you cannot be trusted to confront it, and you cannot be trusted to keep Canadians safe from it."

So, to summarize, and I'm using the words of the prime minister here, ISIS is a barbaric, fanatic, radically violent bunch of jihadist terrorist murderers. And they threaten Canadians every single day. And fighting them begins with calling them all those things, and if you can't call them those things, you aren't a fighter.

Russia, Iran, Iraq & Syria Setting Up 'Joint Operations Center' to Coordinate Anti-ISIS Operations

http://www.rt.com/news/316592-russia-syria-islamic-state/

"Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria have agreed to establish a joint information center in Baghdad to coordinate their operations against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants, according to sources.

'The main goal of the center will be gathering, processing and analyzing current information about the situation in the Middle East - primarily for fighting IS,' a military-diplomatic source told Russian news agencies on Saturday.

Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria may also use the information center to coordinate anti-IS combat plans, the source said, adding that the agreement is a milestone for uniting the region's countries in the war on terrorism - primarily on Islamic State militants.

The Iraqi army's joint operations command confirmed the agreement on Saturday, saying that it came with 'increased Russian concern about the presence of thousands of terrorists from Russia undertaking criminal acts with Daesh (Islamic State),' Reuters reported."

Are Western Intelligence Agencies Involved in ISIL Recruitment? (and podcast)

http://sptnkne.ws/PeY

"Speaking to Radio Sputnik on Sunday, independent journalist and peace activist Vanessa Beeley suggested that common sense seems to dictate that radical Islamist terror groups including ISIL are ultimately the product of Western intelligence agencies looking for 'proxy armies' to be used to achieve the West's foreign policy goals.

The journalist ponders how it could be that despite a US-led effort against ISIL for over a year now, ISIL's operations have actually expanded.

'And how come their armament stocks have also expanded exponentially? It's not logical. If with all the equipment that the US coalition has at its fingertips, it can't wipe out what is supposedly a band of mercenaries, it begs the question: why not? And how come these mercenaries' ranks are continuously expanding?'

Death and Taxes: Analyst Reveals ISIL's True Source of Revenue

http://sptnkne.ws/YZ5

"While many experts focus on the illicit sale of oil as ISIL's main source of revenue, in an interview with Radio Sputnik, Loretha Napoleoni, an Italian journalist and political analyst known for following the money trail of terrorist organizations, reveals that the Islamist group's main source of revenue is actually from taxation.

'ISIL today controls a territory with 8 million people and levies taxes upon this population for their business. And finally, it is smuggling of migrants, because the IS levies a tax on every single individual who crossed the border.' The expert however explained that there is almost no way of cutting the Islamic State's funds, because it is a closed economy, there is no funding coming from outside.

This is a war economy, which is tapped into the economies of the neighboring countries, which are also affected by the war economy,' she said..."

Kadyrov Calls For Muslims Worldwide To Unite To Defeat ISIS

"The head of the Chechen Republic has addressed all Muslims in the world with a call to unite and destroy Islamic State (IS), adding that no one has the right to remain neutral after the atrocities committed by the extremists.

Ramzan Kadyrov made his address on Wednesday, soon after the release of a new video with what was claimed to be an execution of 200 helpless Syrian children by IS fighters armed with machine guns.

'Two hundred children were shot to death. Millions of people in all countries of the world have seen this video, and all leading media reported this news. Earlier we also saw monstrous killings of women, children and adult men.

'Muslims die at the hands of those who call themselves Muslims,' Kadyrov wrote. 'Special services from the USA and other Western states have cheaply bought the heads of terrorist groups adn ordered them to constantly shed Muslim blood, destroying stable countries and blacken the reputation of Islam,' he wrote.

Kadyrov then proclaimed that he considers it his duty to directly address the leaders of major Muslim nations and ask them how long they intend to tolerate the destruction of the Muslim community in the world. Finally, Kadyrov called on all 1.5 billion 'young, healthy, resolute and courageous' Muslims to join forces and together defeat the common foe..."

“This is a question we’ve been asking our neighbors,” Faily said. “How could these brand new trucks… these four wheel drives, hundreds of them — where are they coming from?”

Not surprisingly, it appears the US Treasury is asking the wrong party. Instead of Toyota, the US Treasury’s inquiry should have started next door at the US State Department.

Mystery Solved

Just last year it was reported that the US State Department had been sending in fleets of specifically Toyota-brand trucks into Syria to whom they claimed was the “Free Syrian Army.”

US foundation-funded Public Radio International (PRI) reported in a 2014 article titled, “This one Toyota pickup truck is at the top of the shopping list for the Free Syrian Army — and the Taliban,” that:

That is great news; I've always supported the Kurds for the most part.

Still my point is over all especially in Syria; the reality is Russian bombing (just like the USA bombing) has moved the battlefield very little since it started. And as I said before ISIS has even advanced on some of its enemies as a result of Russian airstrikes weakening other rebel factions that are fighting ISIS and the regime.

Quote:

As ISIS weakens as a state by losing territory, it may actually become more dangerous as a terrorist organization. Until Paris, ISIS didn't really focus much effort on staging attacks on foreign targets outside of the Middle East. Some analysts worry that Paris represents the beginning of ISIS devoting more resources to staging these dramatic attacks outside its territory — perhaps in part to compensate for its territorial losses.

http://www.vox.com/world/2015/11/16/9744490/paris-attacks-isis-losing

NDPP

Yes. Bash a wasps' nest a few times and see what happens. Furthermore, since borders are still largely open to a sea of refugees, many with dubious documents which cannot be verified since most of the asylum countries don't talk to the government of Syria, the penetration of ISIS into target-of choice countries is now a piece of cake.

Pondering

This is the best article I have ever read on ISIS

http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2015/03/what-isis-really-wan...

Bin Laden viewed his terrorism as a prologue to a caliphate he did not expect to see in his lifetime. His organization was flexible, operating as a geographically diffuse network of autonomous cells. The Islamic State, by contrast, requires territory to remain legitimate, and a top-down structure to rule it. (Its bureaucracy is divided into civil and military arms, and its territory into provinces.)
