Clinton, on the other hand, is a known opportunist, and whenever she is asked a question, there's a sense that she is trying to calculate her answer based on what the questioner wants to hear. People don't like or trust Clinton, and the Republicans will expose her dishonesty, hypocricy, and opportunism if Sanders doesn't do so first.
She's the first dishonest, hypocritical and opportunistic candidate in the history of the United States.
And just to ice the cake, she's also a WOMAN. Go figure. What if she's also "shrill" and cries a lot?

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says he wants to talk to Bill Gates about "closing that Internet up in some way" in order to prevent Islamic terrorist group ISIS from recruiting kids.
Speaking at a Pearl Harbor Day rally in South Carolina yesterday, Trump said, "We have kids that are watching the Internet and they want to be masterminds... they're young, they're impressionable, they go over there, and they want to join ISIS."
Trump could very welll be the next President!

Not necessarily a bad idea.
Just let the Republicans win: Maybe things need to get really bad before America wakes up
A GOP victory would bring disaster. Perhaps that's necessary to destroy their credibility -- and wake up Democrats
“The Democratic Leadership Council, the organization that produced such figures as Bill Clinton…has long been pushing the party to forget blue-collar voters and concentrate instead on recruiting affluent, white-collar professionals who are liberal on social issues. The larger interests that the DLC wants desperately to court are corporations, capable of generating campaign contributions far out-weighing anything raised by organized labor. The way to collect the votes and—more important—the money of these coveted constituencies, “New Democrats” think, is to stand rock-sold on, say, the pro-choice position while making endless concessions on economic issues, on welfare, NAFTA, Social Security, labor law, privatization, deregulation, and the rest of it…. Democrats no longer speak to the people on the losing end of a free-market system that is becoming more brutal and more arrogant by the day.”

Since 1952, a US president has had authority under an Immigration and Citizenship Act of that year to exclude any 'class' of people from the United States. Although what Herr Drumpf has said is vile and despicable, it may well be within his writ as POTUS should he unfortunately be elected.

Don DeBar made the remarks in an interview with Press TV while commenting on a statement by US VP Joe Biden, who said on Tuesday that Clinton will win the general election if Trump is the Republican nominee."
I think he's right and I think Bernie Sanders' role is similarly to corral the lib-lefty types for eventual delivery to Hillary
Americans Are Worried About Terrorism, And That Could Help The GOP
The terrorist attacks in Paris and in San Bernardino, California, have reshaped the 2016 presidential campaign: Terrorism is now a top concern.1All else being equal, that could help the Republican nominee if it continues through November. Americans trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle terrorism, 44 percent to 34 percent, according to a Pew Research Center survey from July, and — not surprisingly — there has been a strong link between who Americans trust on their top issue and who they vote for.

Interesting for its focus on the Kennedy period, but the basis thesis, that the south flipped because of racism, is well established. And now there are "new" blacks, Latinos and Muslims, for them to fear.

I am a Trump supporter: Voters speak out
(CNN)Donald Trump's supporters are pissed off, fiercely loyal, and as surprising as the candidate himself.
For almost five months, thousands of voters across the country — many of them disenchanted with the political establishment, fearful that their country is under attack, and desperate to find inspiration in the 2016 campaign — have fueled the Trump phenomenon. photos: Donald Trump's empire
As the billionaire business mogul has broken the conventional rules of politics time and time again this year, his supporters have remained steadfast and loyal, showing remarkable resistance to the stream of criticism that skeptics have thrown Trump's way. And their numbers are growing; Trump was at 36% among Republican leaning voters in a CNN poll this month -- the broadest support yet for the GOP frontrunner. Now, many are digging in their heels as the candidate fights off intense backlash from his latest and most controversial comments yet about banning all Muslims from entering the United States.

You got that right because if Trump wins the GOP nomination, and it is looking more and more like he will, Trump may well go on and take the Presidency.

As for Trump, the only way he can win a general election, imo, is if there are terrorist attacks in the U.S. next fall.
