Donetsk residents protest inaction of OSCE and international community on Ukraine's continued shelling of peaceful civilians in contravention of international law, human decency and Minsk.

I dunno about that. Russia is a powerful capitalist country even with its un-capitalist history. But it's useful to compare apples to apples, and oranges to oranges. The USA has ~1,000 military bases outside the territory of the United States. The Russians have maybe 5. Most of those 5 relate to interdicting drug trafficking and (mostly US-sponsored) terrorism in former Sov Republics with a significant Muslim population. And certainly, as a major nuclear power, the Russian Federation has interests, matters of national defence, etc., similar to other such states (USA, China in particular). We only have to look at the US and NATO sponsored attempts to make Ukraine into a nuclear beachhead on Russia's doorstep ... and the reply by the Russian government.

But putting Yanqui imperialism and the US Empire, its foreign policy, etc., in the same category as Russia (or China, fwiw) trivializes the enormous differences.

Supplemental: how the Communists here in Canada view the BRICS member states (i.e., including Russia, China, etc.) is worth looking at here.

The business of citizens of an autonomous republic, unrecognized, attaining passports in another is fascinating!
Here in Transnistria, the Russian speaking people's need to use the Romanian Moldova passports to travel, as their documents likewise are not recognized.

This need not mean that Transnistria considers themselves part of Moldova...it is just an administrative process.

Transnistria is part of an Alliance of Autonomous Republics, including South Ossetia and Akhazia, likewise having this problem.

Intriguing to see if this Alliamce will grow as more Peoples seek autonomy!!
