I am looking for the tranpscripts of the debate. I want to find out exactly was said about the no fly zones and i think "safe zones"(I have no idea what they mean) in Syria. I have this feeling that Putin will order his airforce to challenge the any no fly zone that interefers with russian goals. This could lead to a very ugly situation.

The GOP Meltdown
The party’s leaders are at odds with its voters.
“It’s probably beyond dispute that Trump’s [debate] performance will shut down Republican defections from his struggling campaign, at least for now,” writes the Washington Examiner’s Byron York. One of the harshest Nevertrump commentators, the Weekly Standard’s Jonathan Last, agrees, and thinks that is terrible for the GOP:
Trump didn’t have a psychotic break onstage. And clearing that bar might be enough to keep Mike Pence, Paul Ryan, and Reince Priebus from publicly disavowing his candidacy this week. . . .
The big loser was the Republican party. Because the worst-case scenario for November 9 is not that Hillary Clinton wins—again, that cake is baked. It’s that if the party does not cut Trump loose, then Democrats also take over the Senate. And carry the House.
And then as it attempts to rebuild from the wreckage, the GOP remains buried under its shameful Trumpian legacy.
As to whether “that cake is baked,” we’re with the New York Sun: “It looks like this election is going to have to be settled by the voters.” But let us concede that a loss for Trump still seems likelier than not, and catastrophic down-ballot losses for Republicans are possible.

Answered Prayers & the GOP Meltdown
I commend to you this editorial from the Deseret News. To their great credit, Mormons have been right about Trump since the beginning. Excerpt:
In democratic elections, ideas have consequences, leadership matters and character counts.
The idea that women secretly welcome the unbridled and aggressive sexual advances of powerful men has led to the mistreatment, sorrow and subjugation of countless women for far too much of human history.
The notion that strength emanates from harsh, divisive and unbending rhetorical flourish mistakenly equates leadership with craven intimidation.
The belief that the party and the platform matter more than the character of the candidate ignores the wisdom of the ages that, “when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” (Proverbs 29:2)
We understand that politicians and presidential candidates are human and that everyone makes mistakes. We do not believe that what is expressed in an unguarded moment of conversation should be the full measure of an individual. And we unquestionably support the principle that people deserve forgiveness, compassion and a second chance.
But history affirms that leaders’ examples either elevate or demean the lives of those being led. When choosing the ostensible leader of the free world, the American electorate requires the clear assurance that their chosen candidate will consistently put the well-being of others ahead of his or her own personal gratification. The most recent revelations of Trump’s lewdness disturb us not only because of his vulgar objectification of women, but also because they poignantly confirm Trump’s inability to self-govern.
What oozes from this audio is evil.

What The Big GOP Meltdown Reveals From A Guy Who Saw It All Coming
But this moment was a long time coming. Ornstein traces the current revolt to the playbook forged by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (who ironically now is being called upon to reclaim his old role), with which he built a Republican House majority for the first time in 40 years. Gingrich pioneered an approach that viewed Washington as a cesspool and government institutions as the enemy.
The problem with that playbook, however, is that once you build a majority on the distaste for government, it's hard to get that majority to govern.
Conservative distrust of the establishment continued after Gingrich himself was deposed, according to Ornstein, and grew worse while President George W. Bush pushed through an entitlement package and two wars without paying for them, giving rise to the Tea Party movement.
The Obama era ushered in a new class of Republican hardliners known as the Young Guns -- namely McCarthy, Cantor and Rep. Paul Ryan -- who sold brinkmanship tactics as a way to win elections. They promised their recruits an immediate $100 billion cut to spending and to use the debt ceiling as leverage to gain concessions from Democrats. However the former proved logistically unworkable and the latter prompted a downgrade of the U.S.'s credit, giving conservatives the notion that their leaders had sold them a bill of goods they couldn't deliver.
Two of the three of those young guns have now become victims of the very uncompromising political culture they championed and the third does not seem eager to stick his own neck out on the chopping block, as Republicans now call on Ryan to step up to become speaker.
"These guys thought they could channel this populist anger into election victories and then co-opt the people they recruited and are finding that they're the ones that have been co-opted," Ornstein said.
His and Mann's book was warmly received in some quarters, while many conservatives -- and even some residing in Washington's "centrist" corridors -- rejected their premise. The Weekly Standard called the book "relentlessly one-sided." Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin wondered if Mann and Ornstein's analysis was "parody." The National Review said, "Their argument bears all of the characteristics, and the subtlety, of a rant."
Since the 2011 debt ceiling scare that served as a jumping off point in the book, Boehner has proved unable to rein in the hardliners' antics -- culminating in him giving up his speakership to avoid a shutdown last month -- and the problem has only gotten worse.
After dropping out of the speaker's race last week, McCarthy suggested the House would have to "to hit rock bottom" before functioning again, a moment Ornstein is not sure has actually arrived.
"One of the things that we have discovered is you can hit rock bottom and then you can dig into the rock," he said. "This is so clearly a debacle for them -- and now being reported everywhere as a debacle for them -- that it might create enough of a sense of urgency that they find a way or two to at least dig out a little bit."
Ornstein doesn't see a fresh face at the top -- Ryan's or otherwise -- changing the underlying dynamics of the situation. Rather, he believes the best case scenario in the short term is for Boehner to ram through a debt ceiling raise and maybe even a broader budget package before he steps down, and for moderate Republicans to band with Democrats to outmaneuver the hardliners on other bipartisan priorities.
"The fact is, [establishment Republicans] don't have the same intense willingness to go to the mat that the radical insurgents have," Ornstein said. "And so the question is how far will they go to preserve or protect their party and can they, at this point, prevail?

But most candidates have had the decency to release them despite that to show that they have nothing to hide.
Again, the law isn't the point here. Trump can do whatever he wants, but it is on people to evaluate his actions and decide whether they want to vote for him or not. In this case, whether they want someone who thinks he is smart to pay no federal income tax, and that it would just be wasted (and he has said that) being in charge of running the executive branch.

I also agree that voters should decide if they like what he is saying and doing -- they have the information. I don't think that the taxes would make much difference at this point anyway. His supporters do not care.
How he has support at this level is a major concern -- or should be -- even if it is a minority, it is a disturbingly big one given all he has said and done.

I am not even sure this would be desireable. Once you require one person to disclose you could require others. This is either private or it isn't.
As I understand it, right now the disclosure of tax documents is voluntary (like letting the police search your vehicle because you've "got nothing to hide").
But if this is a thing, I would suggest that perhaps a mandatory IRS audit for all candidates wouldn't be quite so intrusive. If the IRS finds nothing then you're good. If they do find something then you're not so good.

I didn't think such a law was required since every major presidential candidate for almost half a century has disclosed their tax returns. If I'm not too tipsy, maybe I'll propose the idea to the Senators and Representatives who are located closest to The Strip when I'm down in Vegas later this year. Maybe I'll even leave a note in the suggestion box at the Trump Hotel?!? In the past I have considered staying at the Las Vegas Trump Hotel. Not anymore. And I would never stay at Adelsons's hotel next door either. Steve Wynn's hotel located right in between is nice though...

I think it is worth pointing out the wierd parallel between the Republican situation and Labour in Britain.
For good or ill, the Republican base chose Trump. The party hierarchy has always been ambivalent, and some of them were the first to turn their backs on him.
Even though the electorate seem to be wising up, there are still some in his base who are going to say that he was cheated. It certainly seems to be where he is coming from now, even going to far as to attack the party.

You should probably get yourself a dictionary and look up the word 'anarchy'. There is more than one definition of 'anarchy'. According to my trusty Funk & Wagnall's after the first definition which is "Absence of government", the second definition is " Lawless confusion and political disorder".
Unfortunately my usually very reliable online etymology dictionary is off line (I hope that's only for a short time), but the root of the word anarchy is the Greek 'anarchos' meaning without a leader. Even if you don't accept the further meaning of lawlessness and confusion, you would still have to accept that 'without a leader' is a pretty good description of the current situtation in the GOP.
