Chris Wallace is from Fox News. That is about as good as you can expect. I was actually expecting worse from the moderating considering Fox is so right wing. I was really surprised to watch Wallace challenge Trump on some of his positions. But yes, it was refreshing to watch Hillary Clinton make such a strong and well articulated stand. It is very rare in the United States to see such commitment from a political leader.

Chris Wallace may be on Fox, but he is a first-class anchor and interviewer.  He is not in thrall to the extreme right wing.  In fact, I believe he is a registered Democrat. If anyone deserves the ridiculous moniker "fair and balanced", it's him.

IMO, he was far and away the best moderator in the Presidential or Vice-Presidential debate cycle.

Nothing to learn.Just curious as to what you mean by the term "losers". Nice insult, but it doesn't make it clear what you mean.

If you are just calling them losers but you think Trump was dumber than them then why shouldn't one of them have been able to perform better against him in a debate, as Clinton did?

Clearly one of them was enough of a "not-loser" to be elected several times as governor. In fact, "not-loser" enough that the Clinton campaign thought he had good ideas and would have made a formidable opponent. Only problem was that people didn't like him.

Pookie. I was left feeling impressed with the moderating last night. I think I wrote in my post that I was surprised to see Wallace challenge Trump on some of his positions. That was my way of saying that I do feel that the moderating was fair and balanced. And yes, I do agree that Wallace did the best job of moderating the debates. However, I do think that since Fox is an ultra conservstive news station, Mike Wallace did address the abortion issue ultimately from that perspective.

Chris Wallace is no Mike Wallace. But I agree that the moderating was fair last night.

Yes, I meant Chris Wallace. I think Mike is kinda like not with us anymore.

That's sort of amusing. Dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge.

Here's a question for you. Do you agree with the writer of the article that the field of candidates for the Republican presidential nomination were 'talented'?

Well I presume he's not talking about tapdancing, but the fact that most of them are experienced politicians who should have been able to hold their own against him in a debate. And he's right.
