Thanks for pointing out this article...but as activists we must look on the positive side...all these examples point to an urgent need for radical change!
Here in Canada we must examine and challenge the validity of our democratic process, we must challenge the right of the oligarch`s media to offer information to the voters....fiture elections must not take place until some major changes are to take place......

and again to assure this....our recent election mist be challenged as the fraud it was, in the federal Courts....first step!

Russ Feingold looks like he loses Wisconsin, and Misty Snow looks like she's losing Utah. Indications right now that the Republicans will take all elected bodies.

What a bad night.

The only thing good to come out of the night is that California legalized marijuana. It will be interesting to seee how the Trump presidency will deal with the states curently with legal weed.

I knew Americans were stupid but they just elected a TV reality star whose running mate was an open mouth radio host. America will now be ruled by InfoWar stars.Unbelievable.

Minnesota has not been called yet. That is a bad sign, since Minnesota is a left-leaning state that last went Republican in 1972 and was the only state that never supported Reagan.

If these results hold, it will be a worse result than when Gore lost in 2000.

Only positive is that it looks like Trump will lose the popular vote. So like 2000, the person who came in second in total votes becomes president.

About a third of the west coast ballots haven't been counted. And it will take several days to do so. After that you'll see her lead expand. And Johnson voters were by and large conservative. No accident that as he dropped Trump increased.

watching this morning news and they said Trump lied every 3.5 minutes. while Hillary only lied every 12.

Also, just speaking really bluntly here, if Trump had lost the EC and won the popular vote, I really, genuinely and honestly doubt that these same people would petition the EC to give the Presidency to Trump.  Anyone who thinks they would (on principle) please say.

Electors can vote for whomever they want. And no, in your scenario they would not. But Trump supporters would. Along with calling the election rigged.

And there is this movement to get enough states which make up 270 electors to pass laws requiring their state's electors to vote for the candidate who won the popular vote.

of course presently the rural peoples are stuck in colonialist mentality, dependent on oligarch destruction of their land and ecology for their survival......precisely why we need a serious political movement, cultural, social economic and technologic to offer a viable alternative to the people on the land presently subject to the power and tyranny of the urban elites and their head offices of bankers and ecocidalists!

Is there an urban bias against rural people? Yes. Did it play out in this election win? Not in the least, except that they were successfully bamboozled by a city slicker, just like they get flim flammed into voting against their own interests in pretty much everything:
