Likely true.  Though the article does outline a possibility that Trump could be denied the presidency by the electoral college.  A hugely unlikely possibility, but still a possibility.

Mr. Magoo

He -- and every future President -- could also be denied the presidency by a giant meteor.  Let's cross our fingers.

Sadly,we'd all be better off.

Mr. Magoo

Exactly.  Better that all life on Earth should perish in a giant fireball than that one country should have to endure four years of the government they chose at the polls!

PLEASE, GOD, JUST LET US ALL DIE!!!!

That 'one country' is going to fuck up all us other countries and now that climate deniers are fully in charge and the real possibility of the death of all regulations, the Earth will probably wither and die in the near future anyway.

Live Free Or Die. Nobody will be living free any time soon so....let the whole shithouse go down in flames.

Actually it's New Hampshire's state motto. And living free means everything to me. This is why I have zero tolerance for fascists. BTW,you're not funny, nor witty.

Trump apparently made America 'great' again.

So many possibilities.  Still, the electoral college article was on the Time magazine site.  So it's been given a slightly greater acknowledgement than the meteor possibility.

"The US election may have been stolen..."

Yes, this sounds like the kind of thing cody was whining about before the election, but on Trump's behalf. There's also this:

CNN wrote:
Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.

The scientists, among them J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source.

Excuse me for whining. Election fraud is a serious issue and I hope that it gets taken seriously in the future. It shouldn't take an upset for people to admit how many holes are in the US voting system. And although I have absolutely no sway over this decision, I 100% support a full audit of the results. I think what comes out would be quite enlightening.

Nor time to make a cogent argument, it seems.

There are thousands of MSM news pages where you can join in on the Trump circle jerk. I'm calling out idiots like you. Don't like it? Fuck off.

I have no interest in supporting Trump here or elsewhere. What I do have an interest in is showing the left what not to do so we can stop the spread of alt-right nationalism before it affects any more countries and before Trump gets a second term. If I wanted Trump to succeed I would not be here and elsewhere showing the vocal, hateful leftists like yourself how you're fucking up.

Nails it!!! Well said!!!!

For what it's worth, this is probably the thousandth reference to the "pseudo-left" on babble.

It refers to someone who SAYS they want a better world, and equal pay for equal work, and environmental protections, and strong pro-labour laws, and government investment in infrastructure and housing and transit and suchlike, but who's too cowardly or unprincipled or outright traitorious to commit to honouring Russia, condemning the U.S. holus bolus, imposing a 99.9% wealth tax, and implementing state-owned barber shops.

You built an impressive starw man agruement worthy of being included in the burning man event.

All joking aside i like faux leftist instead pseudo-left.  This a previous post but it provides an actual real world example what "pseudo-left" is all about and how empowers the right.

Lets do a case study in faux leftists how they empower the right.

Lets look to france and the socialist's under hollande.  Because the hypocrisy and craven attitude towards the general public can not be hidden away.

On face of France has a main stream leftist party, the socialsits under hollande. Hollande ran 2012 on platform of anti-austerity and tax the "rich".  He got elected on those ideas but the people france got austerity and neo liberalism instead.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-economy-reforms-idUSKCN0UR0OO20...

Hollande came to power in 2012 on an anti-austerity ticket after declaring that the "world of finance" was his enemy and promising to slap a 75 percent tax on millionaires to subsidize jobs for young people.

But after economic growth failed to pick up and unemployment continued to rise, he engineered a major pro-business U-turn at the end of 2013. He has since offered 40 billion euros ($43 billion) in tax cuts for companies, cut government spending and eased regulation of sectors such as legal professions and bus transport.

His government has said it now wants to conduct a major overhaul of labor laws to give more flexibility to employers, cap compensation packages in cases of unfair dismissal to encourage companies to hire more, and deregulate certain so-called closed-shop professions by removing diploma requirements for jobs such as hairdressers or bakers

At this point if I could add sound, you would hear a slow mocking clap.  Well done mr. hollande your an inspiration to those who call themselves socialists world wide.

This kind of betrayal of the left no only does damage the case of every leftist in France and destroyes the main stream left party.  I think average socailist voter can conclude I voted socialist and i got this neoliberal garabage instead.  It also empowers Le Pen's statements of how useless the left is dealing with the economic concerns of the average person.  The left loses credibity among the voting public and rigth has message of only the right can solve your economic problems.

Again, you would hear a slow mocking clap.  Well done mr. hollande your an inspiration to those who call themselves socialists world wide.

Honouring Russia?...Naw...Not interested in honouring ex- KGB authoritarian state Capitalists ( like Mr. Putin)...I'm more in to Richard Wolff's idea's of worker co-ops...I guess I'm in the Proudhon/Bakunin camp...
