Even by the internal standards of libertarianism under the American definition, I don't think Trump qualifies as such. A libertarian wouldn't be pushing for more tariffs, and would be, if not outright open-borders, at least less hostile to immigration than Trump is.
Actually, even in the US, there are very few major politicians who would qualify as libertarian. At the end of the day, almost everyone can think of at least one issue that they do not want left up to the unfettered choice of the individual.
