If it’s sometimes hard to grasp the Trump campaign’s conspiracy against our democracy, it’s due less to lack of proof than to the impudent improbability of its B-movie plotline. Monday’s indictments offer evidence of things that Washington already knows but pretends to forget. Trump, more gangster than entrepreneur, has long surrounded himself with bottom-feeding scum, and for all his nationalist bluster, his campaign was a vehicle for Russian subversion.

"Wednesdays hearings by the House and Senate Intelligence Committees on 'extremist' political views served as the occasion for members of Congress to urge technology companies to flagrantly violate the US Constitution by censoring political speech, carrying out mass surveillance, and muzzling journalists in pursuit of the government's geopolitical aims.
The hearings revolved around allegations, promoted ceaselessly in recent months by the intelligence agencies, leading figures within the Democratic Party ,and newspapers such as the New York Times, that social opposition to the political establishment results from 'fake news' promoted by Russia."
Not difficult to see where the powers that be are heading with their Russophobia concoction...
Department of Justice investigators have identified at least 6 Russian government officials who took part in hacking the Democratic National Committee (DNC), The Wall Street Journal reported early Thursday.
Prosecutors may file charges next year, according to the report, but the individuals likely won’t be indicted in the United States.
"We have grown accustomed to the strange twists and turns of the so-called scandal known as 'Russiagate'. But who will investigate the investigators? CrossTalking with Philip Giraldi, William Binney, and Dave Lindorff."
Ex NSA technical head William Binney's remarks about NSA capabilities should be of particular interest.
All of which has nothing to do with the investigation he's now conducting. But it's clear that there are forces in the U.S. and Russia who have a lot to lose and are becoming more vociferous.
It would appear that Flynn is toast. He will be charged. The only questions are what charges will be brought, and what sentencing recommendation will be made. If his lawyer is any good, he's waiting for the right offer, and when it comes, which should be soon, he will advise Flynn to grab it. It could be the difference between being out of prison in a year or so, and spending 15 or 20 of his remaining years behind bars. Look at the sentence Chelsea Manning got.
The Russian lawyer who was present for a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with top campaign aides says Donald Trump Jr. indicated to her that a law targeting Russia could be re-evaluated if his father triumphed in the election, according to a Bloomberg News report. The lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, said she went to the meeting to lobby against the Magnitsky Act
Unlike the Paul Manafort case, charges against the former national-security adviser would touch the White House itself and could ensnare the president.

The man is suspected of a non-violent offense against the Estonian state as an FSB agent and preparing for a computer-related crime. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the target of the man's activities were Estonian state institutions.
