Lee Harvey Oswald's killer Jack Ruby told FBI informant to 'watch the fireworks' hours before JFK's assasination
Shooter left without saying anything after president was killed

I do remember reading one of the books on JFK's assassination where the difference between the body (the brain area) leaving Dallas and what it was like upon arrival in Washington was discussed. That was made quite clear and confirmed on the CBC's Fifth Estate Friday nite.

Not quite sure what he meant by "fireworks." Could it just have been the motorcade? Anyway, we now know where he was at the time.

I think I read that one too. It was called "Best Evidence" and was written by David Lifton. I found it quite persuasive, especially the records from the emergency medical staff in Dallas, who had no doubt that the neck wound was an entry wound, not an exit, as found by the Warren Commission.
Thanks Michael - "Best Evidence" was the book.
Do you remember Lifton discussing how the body might have been accessed by the out of sight, other side of the plane? Does anyone know whether the body travelled in the cargo hold or up with the passengers? And what about the rest of the Kennedys? Did any of them ever share publicly their thoughts about who killed JFK?
I have always wondered if LBJ was involved which by that I mean whether or not he knew what was about to happen to JFK
Sorry, NR, it is about 35 years since I read that book, and I long ago gave my copy away to a friend. I don't think LBJ knew about the assassination ahead of time, but I think he was complicit in a coverup.
