Intellectual Discovery Art

I am looking to putting some pictures up and I want to put up important images representing advances in ideas.  I have a few but I am starting to draw blanks. So far I have:

  1. Euclid's windmill
  2. Archimedes approximation of Pi (the image is probably modern, but the proof is pretty cool)
  3. Maslow's hierarchy of needs
  4. The square of opposition (Aristotle's concept, though the square came after his death)
  5. Rule's of inference (a bit of a stretch, probably going to put on same picture as the square of opposition)

Open to suggestions. Trying to avoid just text (but I am considering Quesnay's Tableau Economique). I am tired of all the motivational pictures that offices always have and want something that will stimulate discussion.

Mr. Magoo

Is a Pythagorean triangle too obvious?

I suppose the relationship between the Golden Mean/Fibonacci and a nautilus shell/sunflower is, but that's still good art.

Euclid's Windmill (he provided the proof for the theorem)
