​My personal opinion is it's pretty clear the 'West' has won. They wanted to destroy Syria, and they have.

​It's interesting that all of the countries the USA and their willing partners have fought against were all countries that were the most westernized of Middle East countries. Iraq, Libya, and now Syria have had their whole infrastructure destroyed. There is almost no chance they will ever be able to rise to the level they were before the wars.

Next on the list is Iran, but they're a bit more of a problem. They are a larger country in terms of population, and they have a fairly well developed industrial economy. 

However, that doesn't change the overall USA policy of destroying any country in the Middle East that may present a problem to them, even if it's only by going their own way.

OK so this is what I'm taking away from this recent military action.

This western attack was possibly a test of Russian military tech. And from the link provided by NDPP, along this line of thinking, the US probably doesn't want to engage Russia/China/Iran/India/Venezuela and any other recipient of Russian and Russian ally military tech after this test.

From the sounds of Trump now, he's seen enough and probably is signaling all the western war pigs to give it up.

I'm curious about the Israeli attack? Is Iran going to retaliate? Obviously Iran will seek the blessing of Russia/China before conducting missle strikes against Israel, so we'll see what happens in a week to month if anything comes out? In my opinion Israel has it coming to them in spades!
