The world has always had them since mankind began. Whether it be the Armageddon types or those that frequent discussion boards like here at babble. If you keep predicting the same thing every day, year in and year out, I suppose the odds might be a bit higher than 0.14% that someday these crystal ball types could be right. But if they were a ball player with a batting average like that, I doubt that they would be called up from the minors anytime soon.

For those who doubt my predictions.....perhaps you might just open your eyes and look at reality.....yes the unwind of the global financial system is well under way...now in its phase of the collapse of the emerging countries market systems...their stocks, bond yield and collapsing currencies...but of course let´s not let reality get in the way of prejudice!

The entire monetary system is a mirage. It doesn't exist in any real terms. Money only has value because we agree that it does. If the whole thing collapses we can just invent a new one. I would say it's all just paper but it isn't even that anymore.
The IMF has said that Greece can never pay back its debt. It doesn't matter. As long as the debt stays on the books it exists as an asset. The US will never pay its debt to China. China will never call it in. It needs the US to keep buying. If ever it is foolish enough to call it in. The US can just say no. There is an unspoken agreement to keep up the charade because they are all dependent on it.
Not even the Great Depression destroyed capitalism. Neither did the Great Recession. The uber-wealthy survive.

Re: The "developing economies". It is kind of like the ancient empires. You dump in some currency, extract resources with it, and then tax the currency until nothing is left. This method has worked for 2,500 years...

This is crucial! Yes get out of the money system, become self reliant, build self reliant community!
This is the point of my warnings...if we are not prepared to build our own independent systems, we are screwed!
This takes time! recognition of the danger!
And to suggest that capitalism may go on? It totally depends on our minds and consciousness. Not to forget to mention that the crisis of 2018 will dwarf the effects of the Great Depression...
We need people of awareness to begin preparing, building our community, preparing the political alternative to the capitalist ideologies in all its forms, especially the social democratic variety!
