It's the media, not your Montreal protestors, who are urging further violence and laying the grounds for foreign intervention, agree. Did this rally have any suggested actions for the Canadian government? And if you had your choice what could the Canadian government do, or what could individual Canadians do to help the people of Iran?

I believe lagatta4 does have a point in this. I have met people from Iran who were threatened by the religious extreme government. So I believe it's an serious issue in that part of the world. However this is an issue only the Iranian peoples can resolve. If western countries get involved in any way, it will only strengthen the religious extremes.

First off, I don’t believe in coincidences. Not at the international level anyways
North Korea is on the verge of a huge peace deal, and Trump (with Xi Jin Ping’s boot print on his ass probably) is actually accomadating the process.
