Canadianviews had a post a couple of weeks back, responding to their webmaster getting banned from babble.
Mindful of babble's policy of not discussing banned posters, I suggest that we refrain from publically discussing either the contents of CV's post, or the events leading up to the banning. I've just posted it under Reactions because I think it's relevant when babble gets mentioned on another site.

Not to be unduly technical, but he never actually named rabble or babble. I guess he didn't want to drive traffic to our site.

Back in the day it used to be quite the merit badge to get your ass banned from babble. Always for "exercising free speech" which "the lefties can't handle". I recall at least one person trying to make the case that since rabble received some modest support from some government funded NGO, therefore every Canadian, by way of their tax dollars, had an irrevocable right to post at babble. Nice try.
