I would be inclined to agree that the SNC Lavalin scandal offers a major opportunity for the NDP but do they have the resources to capitalize on it? The ad linked above covers the details but I'm not sure if it's "punchy" enough to go viral and I doubt the NDP will be in a position to buy a lot of airtime on legacy media. We'll see I guess.

That is what I was thinking - a better use of their time would be to use this as a fundraising letter. Has anyone gotten a email asking for a donation based on the latest SNC scandal?
This is certainly the message the NDP should be pushing so I'll give them kudos for that. I just think the ad was poorly done in that it isn't memorable.

Have you seen the news about SNC-Lavalin? The Globe and Mail is reporting that the Prime Minister’s office pressured the Attorney General to let the company off the hook on criminal charges – and shuffled her out of cabinet when she said no.
It’s no wonder that most Canadians feel like it’s corporations getting all the breaks and not them – not only did Trudeau’s Liberal government give tax breaks to the wealthiest corporations, now they’re helping them pay their way out of breaking the law. And the Conservatives aren’t the answer, with their long history of corporate giveaways.
Canadians deserve better. We need leaders who will fight for everyday people – not criminal corporations.
That’s why we asked the Ethics Commissioner to investigate what happened with SNC-Lavalin – because people deserve answers. And today, he agreed to open an investigation.
Over and over, Canadians have been asked to wait for the solutions they were promised by Trudeau’s Liberal government.
We need people in government making different choices.

The NDP have been attacking the Liberals in this fashion for decades and have little to show for it. Sure I don't like the Liberals, but mneh, just another ad. NEXT!
