Canada is changing as stats show that Asians will be the majority of the population and whites a minority with only 30% of the population in 10 years in Canada.

Where did you get this statistic? Getting to the majority alone would be an increase of 20 million in the Asian-Canadian population – nearly a doubling in the population of Canada, via births to and immigration of only Asians. By comparison, the total visible minority population of Canada has only increased by 3.7 million over the past 20 years.

Sorry I meant to say PoCs, not just Asians.

NDPP

Most of us only know Caron as a economic policy wonk, what are his views on NATO, Palestine and  and Venezuela and the Liberals vastly expanded military budget.

[quote=NDPP]

Same old same old Zionist NDP ...

"...the bottom line is the Palestinian Resolution was buried to ensure it wouldn't be discussed. When its proponents sought to push it up the priority list at an early morning session before the main plenary, the party hierarchy blocked it. In a poorly published side room meeting, they succeeded 200 to 189.

NDP House Leader GUY CARRON organized current and former MPs, including Murray Rankin, Randall Garrison, Craig Scott, Tracey Ramsey, Alexander Boulerice, Helene Laverdiere, Nathan Cullen and others, to vote against debating the most widely endorsed foreign policy resolution at the convention. Niki Ashton was the only MP to support re-prioritizing the Palestine Resolution..."

Insiders Suppress 'Palestine Resolution' at NDP Convention

'Progressive' support for an NDP that continues to support Apartheid Israel and its crimes, while conspiring to suppress its opposition, is an abomination. Those that continue to overlook this obscene situation are culpable and complicit in its shameful continuation.

That post was you? Is "whynot" an alternate account you have?

Either way, even with the broadest possible definition of PoC, census figures don't show anything of the sort happening in the next decade.

No I am not Whynot but I could have sworn I posted on the topic of changing demographics in the US and Canada so either it was another thread or I only thought I had posted.

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/the-avenue/2018/03/14/the-us-will-become-...

The new statistics project that the nation will become “minority white” in 2045. During that year, whites will comprise 49.7 percent of the population in contrast to 24.6 percent for Hispanics, 13.1 percent for blacks, 7.9 percent for Asians, and 3.8 percent for multiracial populations (see Figure 1).

Per chance this just came out:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2019/03/21/pew-survey-whites-...

Almost half of white Americans say the USA becoming a majority nonwhite nation would "weaken American customs and values," a new Pew Research Center survey says.

The U.S. Census Bureau predicts that before 2050, the majority of the USA will be made up of minority populations. According to Pew's research, 46 percent of white people fear that would weaken U.S. culture.

A quarter of Hispanics and 18 percent of black people have similar fears. Forty percent of blacks and 46 percent of Hispanics say the shift would strengthen those customs and values.

On Toronto from Wikipedia

The demographics of Toronto, Ontario, Canada make Toronto one of the most multicultural and multiracial cities in the world. In 2016, 51.5% of the residents of the city proper belonged to a visible minority group, compared with 49.1% in 2011,and 13.6% in 1981.

And for Montreal:

Some 26% of the population of Montreal and 16.5% that of Greater Montreal, are members of a visible minority (non-white) group.[11] Blacks contribute to the largest minority group, with Montreal having the 2nd highest number of Blacks in Canada after Toronto. Other groups, such as ArabsLatin AmericansSouth Asians, and Chinese are also large in number.[12] "[11][13] Visible minorities are defined by the Canadian Employment Equity Act as "persons, other than Aboriginals, who are non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour."[14]

This is contributing heavily to the rise of white nationalism. This is why they speak of an invasion. I don't know why we are excluding indigenous peoples from the minority count seeing as they are a visible minority.

I did use the phrase whites becoming a minority but it is misleading because it infers that all white people forms a group in the same sense as asians or black people do. Whites will still be by far the largest plurality. Saying they will become a minority fuels white nationalism.

The only numbers that could be of interest would be measuring the population in terms of the percentage of Canadians that are born here or educated here.

In your post #103 it literally says "whynot wrote".  In bold.

Yes, as I explained, it was my error. I obviously didn't "read" that part. I hit reply with quote and didn't proofread. So sue me.

I don't even have an impression of Whynot as a poster. Is the posting style similar to mine?

Meg is able to see IP addresses I think so she can check to make sure that I am not Whynot. Would you like me to ask her? Why does it even matter?

What the NDP is doing for Canadians

Tom Parkin: The party has never been more relevant as it pushes the government in its pandemic responses. What have the Conservatives done lately?

Jagmeet Singh puts on a rare display of integrity in politics

When the Globe is supporting an NDP decisions one has to know it is not good. After reading the oligarchy's news feed one might want to look at what more leftist voices are saying.
