I linked to several different twitter accounts the first one being Puglaas but I never said the comment came from any of them It was something I read I think that related to the SNC scandal
All the more reason though that we need a public inquiry as Jagmeet has called for from the beginning of this sorry saga in Canadian politics so we can get to the bottom of what goes on behind those Liberal closed doors who just try to confuse the issues but of course we all know that is never going to happen

Singh got a standing ovation by daughters of the vote while Trudeau got turned backs and Scheer had some walk out.
we need a public inquiry as Jagmeet has called for from the beginning of this sorry saga in Canadian politics...of course this won´t pass in the house...so why not launch a legal action...what was the NDP position on the DPA clause added to the 2018 budget? What is the NDP position re SNC Lavalan? Or do they go along with the jobs are primary arguments?

I do think though that QS has ? (had) the correct approach with more than one leader All this emphasis on one leader as opposed to the many MPs that get elected has destroyed proper citizen representation in Parliament In an ideal world party politics would go out the door and perhaps women will be the ones to kill it

The best we can hope for in the next election is a liberal minority government who depend on few principled NDP elected MPs like Don Davies and Jenny Kwan to stay in power, and who will try to force the liberals to act with better principles than what is presently being displayed

Wilson-Raybould hit back at that characterization on Wednesday.
He also removed former Treasury Board president Jane Philpott over her resignation from cabinet and for saying she had “lost confidence” in Trudeau’s handling of the allegations of attempted political interference made by Wilson-Raybould in four explosive hours of testimony before the House of Commons justice committee last month.

“Talking about unconscionable, it’s unconscionable to tread over the independence of the prosecutor,” she said. “It is unconscionable not to uphold the rule of law, and I have always maintained that stance. The contents of the tape, in my view and the view of many people that have reached out, speak for [themselves].”
She also stressed that she has explained why she made the decision to record that call, which was the culmination of four months of requests from top political staffers as well as Trudeau for her to reconsider her decision not to intervene in the criminal case of SNC-Lavalin.
“I said in any other circumstance it would be inappropriate. I was protecting myself. I knew something very dangerous and wrong was going to happen,” Wilson-Raybould said.

The vice-president of a federal Liberal riding association has quit in support of Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott after the two were ousted from caucus as fallout continues in the SNC-Lavalin affair.
Louis De Jaeger of the Chilliwack-Hope riding announced his decision on social media on Wednesday morning, saying it was “with great disappointment” that he learned the two former cabinet ministers were ejected by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over the scandal.

He said after speaking to people in the community over the last several weeks, he has found his values, and theirs, “do not align” with the current direction of the prime minister and those within his office.

The Liberals have taken beating after beating following allegations that Wilson-Raybould was improperly pressured by the Prime Minister’s Office to intervene in the criminal prosecution of Montreal-based engineering firm SNC-Lavalin – the latest development being a key phone conversation Wilson-Raybould secretly recorded between her and former Privy Council clerk Michael Wernick.
De Jaeger said he also cancelled his financial contributions to the party, and will be withdrawing his bid to run as the Liberal candidate in the upcoming federal election.
He first ran for the Liberals in 2015.

Just listening to Don Martin's Power Play where the Liberal MP got crucified, there is no other word for it, by the other 3 women on the panel. Niki Ashton did quite well representing the NDP, but the right-wing is really pushing for JWR and Philpott to now join the Greens however when Don Martin brought it up with Elizabeth May her ego got in the way and she blew it.
