Liberals running scared against Jagmeet Singh for October election

And here I thought the Liberals weren't afraid of Singh, eh! Who knew!

Maybe Richard Lee’s wife is ill? It seems to me that without knowing what the state of Lee’s wife’s health is, this thread and the title of this thread, Liberals running scared against Jagmeet Singh for October election, seems very inappropriate. Does mindless partisanship know no bounds? I think Lee’s wife is most likely ill and NR should apologize for starting this disrespectful thread.

NR, are you high?

josh

He's high on the NDP.

Since when do politicians tell the truth?

Maybe it has more to do with it the money-laundering public inquiry that had just been launched in B.C. than anything else.

Pondering

I think he is being sarcastic, ironic or mocking.

Why stop there? Why not an unsolved murder?

I hear the whole country's going cold turkey in October.

This might just be NR's blindest partisan thread ever. Might be. Either way, it's in terrible taste as it is clearly stated that Lee's wife is "combatting a challenging illness". Show some basic human sympathy and respect.

Yep. I think they're shitting their pants. lol

It still doesn't change that the NDP barely ever get a percntage point over 21% They are a threat to no one.

I still beat the drums that the LPC and NDP should MERGE. For the good of the whole damn country.

Maybe it has to do with an innocent person who has a serious illness?

NorthReport

Yes, let's always accept Liberals at face value and disbelieve everyone else, eh!

What I don't understand is, why do the moderators allow this type of behavior by North Report to continue month after month?

NorthReport

Says the guy who has posted under many different identies here and who originally told us he was an NDP supporter until his postings betrayed him.

You don't get my point and you apparently never will. I will take Charles Manson (no joke) before Scheer. Too bad Charlie's dead. I'll eat my own flesh if it destroyed the CPC for generations. My point. I would like an NDP/Liberal merger. It would kneecap the Cons for decades.

Other than you, who is saying the person in question is not really ill?

Agreed.  You're better than this, NR.

When it comes to something no one would make up, yes.  Things like this are outside of politics.  Nobody, even a Liberal, would claim his wife has an illness when she doesn't.  It's not something he'd be able to get away with faking anyway.

Sounds like fun!  You got one for us?

It doesn't even matter that his wife is ill. Running for office is an exhausting process, whether you win or lose, and a win is never really guaranteed. Saying someone who chooses not to run is just afraid of an opponent is a ridiculous statement. By analogy, there are several hundred reasons I don't play hockey, and "fear of being personally humiliated by Alex Ovechkin" isn't in the top 100. The idea that not running is a sign of personal cowardice has kept many politicians in office without whom we all would've been better off.

Bad thread choice NR.

Can this just be closed?  It's beneath us as a group, really.
