Why has English Debate Moderator (and Liberal hack) Althia Raj not yet resigned?

The picture above was apparently taken last night in Ottawa. It shows the Huffington Post’s Althia Raj and the Liberal Party’s Gerald Butts.

Raj is one of the moderators in the crucial (and only) English-language leaders’ debate.

She and her employer have been criticized many times in the past for being biased – in favour of the Liberal Party of Justin Trudeau.

In my view, Butts was merely doing his job, and doing it well. But was it a good idea for Raj to get together with Butts, mere days before the debates kick off?

No.

If the Liberals do lose the election, it will be for all the many reasons, like this one, that when added up, give the Liberals a failing grade. Maybe this is like the last straw, eh!

“If we lose we have to get rid of Trudeau, it’s the only way to please the country”, said @gmbutts

Wow. That's fucked up.

I'd say it's pretty brave of Butts but he probably (correctly) realizes he can get away with whatever he wants. Trudea blew off two ethical violations already. Liberal fans will see nothing wrong with this super inappropriate meeting taking place because it's following the standard set by the PM.

It says volumes about the Liberals , Trudeau and Butts that Butts has a dominant role in the Liberal campaign after resigning in disgrace from the PM's office over his unethical behaviour in SNC-Lavalin

I'm sure that these 2 professionals carefully considered if this would be a seen as a possible conflict of interest, and concluded nope, no conflict of interest, we are merely discussing personal matters.

Maybe we could get the Ethics Commissioner to look into the matter?

As sleazy as it is, I agree with Kinsella that Butts is just doing his job

But for the debate moderator who has been accused on numerous occasions of being a Liberal hack to meet with the Liberal campaign Co-chair is beyond the pale She needs to step down from that now rigged role of debate moderator How unethical can you get!
