As far as the Steele dossier is concerned, it is nothing but "oppo-research" which Trump has made clear he would be happy to accept from any source. It was also originally commissioned by Republican opponents of Trump, and only passed over to Clinton's campaign after Trump had essentially won the nomination. Republicans will continue to use it, but it has no factual validity.

I think that Josh's statement is one that cannot be proven, however many citations he might provide. I would re-state his claim to be that there is no evidence I am aware of that any previous president did such a thing. (Also, if one had been proven to do this, it would have been a big problem for them.)

The personalization of the current regime is terrifying. If people think the problem is Trump they have missed what has been going on in the US in the last generation. He is a representation not an abberation

The problem is the Tea Party. If the Tea Party is let off the hook in an anti-Trump impeachment process the next president will be a slightly more competent Tea Party representative who will be there for the next 8 years.

This is becoming more likely -- that Trump will be impeached with support from the GOP and the GOP will put up another candidate. Perhaps one who is a little younger than the democrat who will make an issue about age and will rule for the next 8 years. This will be someone who 5 years ago would have appeared disgusting and repugnant but after Trump will look sane and reasonable.

Americans are only in the middle of the greatest electoral fraud they have ever experienced. The world has not seen the end of the MAGA screwing that it is taking that began years before Trump was born.
