Boris Johnson Fail!!!

So Boris Johnson lied to his people saying the UK would exit the EU by October 31, 2019.

This new UK Prime Minister, is just like the previous Conservative Prime Ministers, and is nothing but a blowhard who cannot be trusted to tell the truth.

And not only that, but his party is divided, some wanting an election and some don't.

It’s not just Labour that is dithering over an early election – not all Tories want one either

I was Boris Johnson’s boss: he is utterly unfit to be British prime minister

The Tory party is about to foist a tasteless joke upon the British people. He cares for nothing but his own fame and gratification

Sorry I understand in Canadian politics having a new thread for each event is a debate but to do so in the International section serves to give a greater emphasis on some countries while burying others. Can we not live with a single thread for each country?

I know there are a couple countries that have multiple threads but when it comes to the international section this proliferation is a bigger problem becuase it reduces prominence of other countries.

I feel the same about both the US and the UK - let us nip this in the bud and try to agree on say not more than a couple active threads for each if people can agree on this. Okay?

Alternately we would ahve to consider what Babble likely cannot do now which is to divide the International section to prevent swamping all cuontries with the news of one. It works fine if we avoid opening extra threads.

Brexit Stasis: EU Foot-Dragging & Parliamentary Stonewalling Have Led to 'Very Un-British Coup'

https://on.rt.com/a43h

"...Britain now stands at a  terrifyingly dangerous crossroads,' Galloway argued, saying the deadlock means that Britain 'effectively has no government.' ' We have the very definition of stasis. The government can neither move forward, nor back and the public cannot have their say on the extraordinary circumstances we now find ourselves in. This is  a very un-British coup..."

Sounds like an argument for letting the people have a referendum to have a say on the deal the UK is going to sign with the EU.
