Yeah, so do I, but it's none of the business of Canadians whether the people of the region decide to have one, two, or more states. Our business is to oppose the violation of international law, the aggression, the Occupation. And I think we should encourage the NDP in that direction.
The foolishness about "two-state solution" was obviously added by Jagmeet's back-room handlers - just the same way he screwed up a "better late than never" condemnation of the coup in Bolivia by adding a call for a "new election". The NDP doesn't get it and perhaps never will. But in the scheme of things, if they take a moderately positive step, compared to the extreme-right dunghole that Canada is descending into - we should pat them on the back and tell them they have some support for those stands.

The two state solution is actually official NDP policy adopted by convention. Not that I think Singh or his handlers would be overly concerned about that.
Working with partners for peace in Israel and Palestine, respecting UN resolutions and international law, supporting peaceful co-existence in viable, independent states with agreed-upon borders, an end to Israeli occupation of Palestinian land, and an end to violence targeting civilians.
Of course the NDP supports a 'two-state solution.' Because it knows as Israel knows that 'without a two-state solution, Israel will suffer a demographic death*.' Thankfully, Apartheid Israel has itself foreclosed this option and it is indeed 'foolishness'. Sad to see people in desperation more optimistic than they should be.
Israel only suffers a demographic death if they do not shed the trappings of democracy. The imperial settlements where the people are controled by a legislative body they cannot vote in and do not suggest that there will be open internal borders in the future. Israeli politics has a consensus that everyone ignore the nonZionists so even those with a vote have no say in government. At this point it looks like Israel will look like a democracy in some respects until democracy threatens its structure and then it will abandon those principles for one that continues to preserve the state and its empire into places where people do not have responsible government.
