Loved that book when I was a teenager.

North Report you push the line that China is the world's most repressive security state with the highest tech equipment monitoring its citizens continually. If that is true why is it every time they claim to have caught someone spying for another government you and the imperial media say they are wrongfully convicted. I find the idea that no foreign powers are operating spies inside China to be beyond absurd. So the idea that the Chinese police state is incapable of catching some of them is just as absurd or that every time they catch one they are wrong is even further from reality. How can they be so sophisticated and wrong every fucking time they arrest someone? .
Of course in any given case the Chinese justice system could get the verdict wrong, just like our courts routinely do.
