Trump will not get another term and will go down as the worst president they every had because at least major parts of if not the entire country is about to be decimated. Trump followers are believers. They accept his simplistic argument that more people die from car accidents and the common flu every year. They think only the old and weak will die. They have also believed their entire lives that the US is the greatest nation on Earth. They have a "can-do" attitude that can't be beat.
They are on a trajectory to be worse than Italy. Even the wealthy and upper middle-class will suffer. The economic hit will be worse because eventually it will be shutdown like Italy. Americans will be shocked beyond belief. This will be traumatizing.
I am quite afraid for the US. It is a country full of guns and faith in American exceptionalism.
Trump will bear the blame for this because he said everything would be fine and it was his job to make it so. As he has been worshipped he will be vilified.

And Samuel Alito - while a mere 70 years young - might look at RBG as a cautionary tale, and opt to retire while a Republican is still in the White House, depending on how things are looking after the 2022 midterms.
If Trump gets another four years in office, there's a very realistic chance that there will be six Trump appointees on the Supreme Court by 2024.
Having said that, I am not at all optimistic about his chances of beating Trump. He will be a terrible candidate.

We don't know that -- particularly since we do not know how this crisis is going to end or how it will be understood by the people. We also do not know if Trump will go if he loses or if he will give up on winning and just steal the election. I think that is more likely than an actual win now.

No, I don't believe that at all. What I do believe is that the Dems would have a tough time beating Trump without offering more than a return to normalcy no matter who the candidate was. Bernie Sanders, uniquely among the candidates, actually offered a program that could inspire supporters, which is why the Democratic elite would have chosen him if they really cared about beating Trump more than they cared about pleasing their donors.
If the candidate not offering anything were Kamala Harris or Cory Booker or even Pete Buttigieg, it might be feasible because Trump is just that bad. However, in my opinion, with such a dreadful candidate as Biden it becomes almost impossible. If Biden wins, a turnip could have won. Perhaps that will happen, but if so the voters will have decided that even a turnip is better than a Trump.

I'm not sure about her base not showing up sir. She did win the most votes and the 2016 voter turn out was about the same as the 2012 election turn out. Some of her voters may have stayed home because she had that 99% chance of beating Trump so thought why bother voting.
