Interesting article that is almost a coherent argument for stealing all the land at once. He is right in that no European settler invasion, anywhere around the globe, has been repelled at this of an advanced stage. The danger in annexation is a even worse apartheid where the West Bank becomes a nastier type of Puerto Rico in perpetuity.

Israeli forces have shot dead a Palestinian teenager after raiding a refugee camp in the illegally occupied West Bank, sparking clashes with residents, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

The campaign by Israel and its lobby to smear their critics as anti-Semites goes back decades.
But in recent years, this tactic has intensified its breach of all bounds of decency and regard for the truth.
Among the more egregious examples have been the attempts to shift blame for the murders of Jews by neo-Nazis onto the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement for Palestinian rights.
For instance, after a white supremacist’s shooting rampage that killed one person at a synagogue in Poway, California, in April 2019, the Zionist Organization of America and other Israel advocates tried to implicate Students for Justice in Palestine and other campus critics of Israel – who had absolutely nothing to do with the attack and who had never attacked any Jewish institutions whatsoever.

I moved from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv in 2001. By then, I had understood the history of the hundreds of depopulated Palestinian villages that are scattered across modern-day Israel. I knew them as national parks, as ruins along the road, as picnic sites, and as Israeli cities; some I knew by their original Arabic names.
Tel Aviv itself stands over six Palestinian localities that existed before 1948: al-Jamasin al Gharbi, al-Mas’udiyya (Summayl), al-Shaykh Muwanis, Salameh, a fisherman’s village, and the northern Jaffa neighborhood al-Manshiyya. Yet when I saw their remains, entangled with the streets, galleries, and coffee shops of Tel Aviv, I could not imagine these villages or their inhabitants becoming part of the city again.

A recent video clip about the Nakba and the militarization of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, put together by a left-wing student group, has led to a furious backlash by right-wing groups and politicians who claim the clip incites to violence against soldiers. One Knesset member has called for a criminal investigation, while other actors demanded that the student chapter of the socialist Hadash party, which created and published the video, be shut down.
The video starts out with the message “72 years of the Palestinian Nakba, and the Nakba continues to date,” and presents a timeline of the Nakba. It then makes several claims about the militarization of Hebrew University, including that many soldiers attend the university; that Palestinian students are being removed from campus dorms; and that Israeli snipers are stationed on the roofs of university buildings in order to take shots at protesters in neighboring Issawiya, which has been the site of an extended campaign of police violence.

Hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians demonstrated Saturday evening in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv against the killing of Iyad Hallak, a Palestinian man with autism who was shot dead by police officers in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Hallak, 32, was on his way to the special education school he attended and worked at near Lion’s Gate when Border Police officers began pursuing him, claiming he had been holding a weapon. Hallak reportedly fled and hid behind a nearby dumpster, where the police officers shot and killed him. No weapon was found at the scene of his death.

The “Citizenship and Entry into Israel Law” prohibits Israeli citizens who marry Palestinians from the occupied West Bank or Gaza Strip, or nationals from several other regional states, from living with their spouse in Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu is facing outspoken resistance to his proposal to annex parts of the occupied Palestinian territories from some of the people the move was advertised as benefiting – Israeli settlers.

Microsoft has announced plans to divest its shareholding in the Israeli facial recognition company AnyVision following an investigation of the company by former United States Attorney General Eric Holder.
Microsoft's venture capital arm, M12, invested in AnyVision as part of a $74 million funding round in June 2019.
Holder and his team at the law firm Covington & Burling conducted an audit of AnyVision starting in October 2019 after NBC News and other news outlets including Forbes and Israeli business publication TheMarker reported that the facial recognition startup was surveilling Palestinians throughout the West Bank.

The Palestinian struggle for national liberation can be seen in microcosm in aspects of Palestinians’ daily lives and the multiple dimensions that the struggle plays out in, be that in the inhumane siege on Gaza, the political economy of the occupation, the fragmentation of parties, etc. Of course, the Israeli occupation and settler colonialism work their way into the most intricate details of Palestinian life. But there is one dimension that needs to be centered in the solidarity movement: Palestinian political prisoners. There are multiple reasons why focusing on Palestinian prisoners not only brings more clarity in relation to Israel’s policies and progression as an occupying power, but also hastens the liberation of the Palestinian people and land.
