Back in 2016, B'nai Brith accused Dimitri Lascaris of "advocating on behalf of" and "supporting" terrorists, in an effort to silence his defence of Palestinian rights. He launched a lawsuit for defamation, which has been criss-crossing the court system since then. The Supreme Court of Canada last week put an end to B'nai Brith's obstruction, and the lawsuit can now go ahead.
