How And Why Governments Keep Their Populations Illeterate And Uneducated

I know it's usually not cool to reference spelling issues here, but...spelling "illiterate" wrong in the thread title?

NDPP

Keep it! It makes the point splendidly.

I don't know why everyone thinks this is a mis-spelling. "I" and "l" will show up the exact same in a thread title.

Has anybody had a chance to see the cartoon?

Edit: Whoops, I see where the mistake was! Fixed now!

"children come out of college without elementary knowledge” said Mighty Sparrow, second most decorated Calypso Monarch after Chalkdust.

NDPP

Deservedly so. Had the good fortune to see him perform. MIGHTY indeed!

ps: Canadian 'education' has always been generally more about teaching conformity and deference to authority than anything else. The results are dismal and obvious.

This is rich coming from somoene who has amplified the mainstream but false narrative that covid is the new plague and insisting on authoriarian measures to control the pandemic, plus also insisting that we need to "follow the science" even though science on this is unclear in many respects.

Pondering

You sound like a nutcase with your continued insistence that Covid restrictions are unnecessary or doing more harm than good and that the science isn't clear when it is very clear on the basic facts.

Because name-calling is such a good strategy rather than a last resort of someone who has no factual arguments to make.

JKR

It seems nonsensical to say that Covid restrictions are unnecessary or doing more harm than good and that the science isn't clear when it is very clear on the basic facts.

It isn't name calling I am being literate. You reject facts in favor of conspiracy theories and you have been doing it for months. There is no argument against someone who rejects objective reality.
