And they have released to the media

So?  It's a meeting agenda...and not even the latest draft.  Nothing to be outraged about, Mighty.  Nothing in that agenda is a state secret.

Just another NDP embarrassment.

How so?  seems like they're just honoring the public's right to know.  What would YOUR model party have done instead(assuming it hadn't yet stormed whatever is considered the palace in Ottawa)?

LOL, thanks Ken. BTW, the closest thing to a palace would probably be Rideau Hall.

It must be another dull day in the Liberal campaign office.

The NDP is the one that tweeted it out, from the NDP Official Twitter Account

And there's nothing wrong with them doing that.  Your fauxrage is pointless.

The fact that anyone thinks any of this is real is hilarious. Why would Trudeau and Biden be discussing the US minimum wage (set by Congress, not executive order) or student loan freeze? This is a campaign ad, plain and simple. (Whether it's a good one is a separate discussion.)

Where did I say it is wrong? Or express rage?

Pondering

I'm with cco. Either it was an inside joke or it's fake. Either way the NDP were stupid to release it. Ice cream and a virtual selfie didn't tip them off? It makes the NDP look childish and not like serious contenders.

It's obviously a spoof. Unfortunately it's an unfunny one. It goes over like a lead balloon.

Oh.  Good point.

It seems that the internet is a poor place to publish satire. You would have thought Swift was advocating cannibalism.

Asked about this tweet - NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says his staff won't be working for "Saturday Night Live" anytime soon.

Including posters on this board who didn't even find it amusing.

Pondering

Spoof or not, the NDP might consider making time to highlight that report from Tam from November. I also saw it pass by unnoticed. If the NDP didn't notice it then shame on them; if they noticed it and ignored it shame on them again. How inept can a party be? It was a golden opportunity for a leftist party. That it was ignored by the NDP tells me the NDP is not a leftist party. They are barely a progressive party.  You know what's worse than not having a leftist party? Having a fake one sucking up the energy.

Ken Burch

So...what we're left with was failed-but-harmless satire and a complete lack of justification for the original poster's outrage.

As a great Canadian once put it "Alrighty, then."
