This has been on my mind, so I have to comment. They are:
Steven Guilbeaut-In charge of the Ministry of Truth. He is the brains behind Bill C-10, which is effectively designed to let the government censor any Internet content that it deems inappropriate. Not only wrong on principle, but he can't even properly defend the bill in the media. With the amount of government subsidies to traditional media outlets, a government minister looking bad in this media context is indeed failing to clear a low bar.
Chrystia Freeland-Her comments about covid being an opportunity with a big smile on her face has to be one of the most tone-deaf things a Canadian politician has ever had. People's lives have been destroyed, and our debt is off the charts. What kind of an insenstive person says something like that to a nation struggling? That is on top of the already horrendus foreign policy positions she has expressed, which have been covered at length here.
Patty Hadju-Being the Minister of Health for the duration of the pandemic, it is clear that she was not appointed on the basis of competence. She is effectively a government mouthpiece. Whenever she is questioned about the response to covid, her answers generally veer off into random things, she accuses anyone who questions her authority of spreading fake news, and she never answers any questions asked of her.
Those are my three. What are yours?
