Hundreds are gathered outside of B.C. premier Christy Clark’s constituency office.
In this photo of a news broadcast, you’ll see that hundreds are gathered outside of BC premier Christy Clark’s constituency office at this moment. Maude Barlow will be speaking outside the Kamloops office of BC environment minister Terry Lake about 30-minutes from now. Today there will be protests at MLA offices in 68+ communities across the province to say ‘no pipelines, no tankers’. Tonight Barlow will be speaking at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops with Sven Biggs (Tanker Free BC), Janice Billy (Secwepemc activist and educator), Jim Cooperman (Shuswap Environmental Action Society), and Kanahus Pellkey (Secwepemc youth movement).
