Dear American neighbour,

As a Canadian I am very proud of our health care system. I am a self-employed 31-year old artist making less than $20,000 a year. I have my health care completely covered with no payments at all. I rest assured knowing that if I am injured I will be looked after by pros. I can see my GP as often as I need to at no cost to me. I pay for my own medication which have never cost more than $30. I have never seen anyone go broke from medical bills or go head to head with a health insurance company.

The American system looks like a complete nightmare compared to what we know in Canada. My only complaint about the Canadian system is the hospital food. I wish everyone in the world could feel as secure as I do that my health is covered.
