The Call Out:

Through the process of colonization, we have misplaced or forgotten the Seven Grandfather Teachings. We are beginning the process of our “Return” by re-installing our sacred teachings.

This is a group discussion, that is focused on shared insights and experience.

The following is an excerpt from The Mishomis Book: The Voice of the Ojibway – Edward Benton-Banai

To cherish knowledge is to know WISDOM

To know LOVE is to know peace

To honour all of creation is to have RESPECT

BRAVERY is to face the foe with integrity

HONESTY in facing a situation is to be brave

HUMILITY is to know yourself as a sacred part of
creation

TRUTH is to know all of these things.

Breaking any of the Seven Grandfather teachings,
breaks them all.
