Leonard Peltier has been in jail since 1976, convicted of killing two FBI agents at the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. He is widely supported by groups as diverse at the Canadian Union of Public Employees and Amnesty International. There will be an International Day of Solidarity on February 4. Barry Cardinal is one of the organizers of a rally planned for Vancouver, B.C.
