Bee populations are in decline around the world. While there are likely many causes, pesticides are the one factor that can be controlled easily and right now. In response to the European Commission’s ban on bee-killing pesticides, due to take effect in December 2013, John Bennett of the Sierra Club of Canada talks about their club’s efforts to have a similar ban take effect in Canada.
