Ok, let’s keep this simple.

I know you all know that rabble.ca is great, news and opinion marinated in awesome-sauce.

I just want to take this opportunity to emphasize three important things I’d like you to know about rabble.ca since these are the last days of our fundraising drive.

–we rely on community support

–a monthly donation of $5/month will make a big difference to our ability to do the work we do

— no amount is too little or too small.

See! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Because I know you enjoy reading posts from myself (Activist Communiqué) and many other talented writers and podcasters with news about community social justice campaigns, inside activist information through our Activist Toolkit  and Revolution 101 series.

And I know you enjoy staying up to 3:00 am debating politics on babble (true story!).

rabble.ca has been reporting since the FTAA demonstrations in 2001 and has covered everything from Indigenous community resistance; to the effort to prevent/end the war in Iraq and Afghanistan; to the G20 demonstrations in Toronto; to #Occupy! and Idle No More.

When rabble.ca started, the idea was simple and enshrined in our ethos as, “News for the Rest of Us” and I jumped at the chance to be a part of such an awesome and necessary media project since 2001 at its inception. I know that dates me (yikes!) but rabble.ca has been around and long time and has steady grown with your support

…which is what I am asking you to do now…

“As a community supported non-profit media site, rabble depends on generous donations from individuals and groups to survive and thrive. Rabble.ca gets no government money; we have no corporate parent or primary foundation support. We have you.

rabble.ca operates on a tiny budget compared to other online news sites and we make every dollar count and truly appreciate your support. Organizations can also support rabble in a couple of ways.
