Jim Flaherty, Canada’s former finance minister has died at 64. He resigned from Cabinet less than a month ago.

The minister was found with no vital signs, and CBC reported that a family member said he died of heart failure. The House of Commons has been suspended. 

“I’m stunned and saddened by this news. A very decent, honourable man,” tweeted NDP MP Nathan Cullen.
