#RejectFear #StopC51 – A photographic story by guest Kevin Konnyu

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to photographer Kevin Konnyu who owns Firth Business Photography. You can follow his work on Twitter @fifth_business

Below is a summary of events that occurred in Toronto from his perspective.

On Saturday March 14 between a thousand and two thousand people rallied at Nathan Phillips Square to oppose what many refer to as Harper’s “secret police” omnibus bill C-51. An impressive speakers list outlined the critiques of the bill and provided an analysis of the context from their various perspectives in between organizers leading the crowd in chants of “We are here to reject fear!”

An excellent summary of events was written by Toronto’s Desmond Cole for The Walrus and can be found here.

But most importantly, a link to Konnyu’s photos can be found here.
