Salut Rebellions, check out these solidarity events. Let’s make the “so-so-solidarité” mean something!

First, though, consider signing this petition calling for the resignation of Toronto Police Chief, Bill Blair, for lying to the public among other dishonourable things.

If you’d like to launch a complaint with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, you have until FRIDAY!

Now on to the Civil Liberties Celebrations across Turtle Island………

1: Saturday’s Rally at Queen’s Park

Tell the Government and the Police that they can’t push you around; singing: “push back, push back, push back, with every word and every breath”.

These are our streets. Hold your ground and stand up for your rights!

Rally at Queen’s Park, organized by amazing groups such as Canadians Advocating Political Participation (CAPP), the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the Toronto Community Mobilization Network.

Here are the deets = bring yourself and your wonderful malcontent friends! There’s going to be everything from speakers to drumming to face painting! Remember that people across Turtle Island will be marching with you!

Come celebrate the Carnival of Resistance!

I’ll be covering the event for http://www.rabble.ca so please keep in touch over Twitter @rabbleca and @krystalline_k
