Alex Hundert was arrested tonight after speaking at the G20 Strengthening Our Resolve talk. Reports coming in state he was arrested after arriving home and will be taken to the Metro West Detention Centre over night. Friends and supporters have vowed to gather tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. at Toronto’s Old City Hall for his bail hearing.
Hundert is already out on bail as the government alleges he is one of the G20 “ringleaders” responsible for the G20 protests in Toronto this past June 2010 and faces numerous charges including three counts of conspiracy. The Crown has already once attempted to revoke his court ordered release on bail. More information to follow…
