Breanne Lavallée Heckert: Landback, police abolition, and worldwide solidarity

Breanne Lavallée-Heckert is the research manager for Indigenous Climate Action. She shares with our panel that while Indigenous people are exercising their sovereignty every day, action must be taken to move past colonial systems currently in place on a global scale for true reconciliation. And it starts with Landback.

This is a clip from rabble’s most recent live politics panel. ‘Off the Hill: What does reconciliACTION look like’ featured guests MP Leah Gazan, Georgina Lazore, and Breanne Lavallée-Heckert. Co-hosted by Robin Browne and Libby Davies.
