The Activist Toolkit is home to a great explanatory tool on boycotts. And for good reason – boycotts are a super effective way to take a stand against unjust corporate practices. Boycotts can make an impact on a company’s profits – aka the most effective way to grab the attention of the corproate world. Even if it doesn’t have an economic effect, boycotts are still a super valid way to send a message to a corporation and garner attention for its troubling practices.

Here’s a great guide to boycotting, with lots of useful information on the practice and how to go about boycotting effectively.

This resource was produced by Green America, so most of the examples are American. If you’re in Canada or somewhere else outside the U.S., don’t worry, because it’s still a great guide to putting on a boycott workshop.
