Eating Innovation: the art, culture, science and business of entomphagy

The Future Food Salon Group, in collaboration with the Montreal Space For Life Insectarium, is hosting the first international conference on entomophagy to be held North America. Eating Innovation: The Art, Culture, Science and Business of Entomophagy takes place at the Montréal Space for Life on August 26-28, 2014. Dr. Aruna Antonella Handa (Alimentary Initiatives) and Dr. Elke Grenzer (Culture of Cities Centre) are the conference convenors and directors of the Future Food Salon Group.

This three day conference includes morning plenary sessions, afternoon panels and three evening events, two of which will be open to the public. In addition, there is a Discovery Gallery featuring trade tables as well as art work commissioned for the conference.

The Full Conference Pass includes:
–access to all conference proceedings during the day
–complimentary breakfasts, coffee and tea and refreshments
-access to the Discovery Gallery and Trade Tables
-3 evening events: the Networking Wine & Cheese "Cinq à Sept" (Aug 26), the Future Food Salon Montreal (Aug 27), the Bug Banquet (Aug 28)
-Access to the grounds and facilities of the Space for Life including the Insectarium, the Botanical Gardens, the Biodome and the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium

Day Passes, Tickets to the Future Food Salon Montreal, and Tickets to the Bug Banquet are available for sale separately.
