Tree-cutting protest at Lansdowne Park/Sylvia Holden Park
On June 5, two local residents chained their bikes to equipment in order to stop illegal tree cutting which took place without notice and against federal environmental law. Community members gathered in the evening to further voice their opposition.
The parks are located near the intersection of Adelaide and Holmwood, Ottawa, Ontario.
Speakers include Martha McKeen, Diane McIntyre, and two young residents.
