Texas-based energy giant Kinder Morgan wants to triple its Trans Mountain Pipeline to “the world’s greenest city”, meaning up to 400 supertankers a year would pass through Vancouver’s Burrard Inlet, right past the city’s beaches, the Fraser River estuary, the Gulf Islands and Victoria, putting BC’s economy and environment at risk of a catastrophic oil spill.
