Are you a new writer who is passionate about producing journalism for real change? Listen up! We are now accepting applications for the 2022 Jack Layton Journalism for Change Fellowship.
The fellowship supports emerging journalists who are eager and engaged in social justice forward reporting.
Over the period of four months, the fellow will develop a feature story with the editor and will work on brief news pieces each week. As well, the fellow will attend weekly story meetings with rabble editors and staff. The Journalism for Change Fellowship pays a stipend of $5,000 over the course of the fellowship, divided in four monthly installments.
