MP Charlie Angus: Maintaining democracy in Canada

In this clip, NDP MP Charlie Angus discusses his concerns around a destabilized America in the wake of a Donald Trump presidential victory in 2024, and how that will encourage far-right extremism in Canada.

“What worries me is the destabilizing of America, because while us younger cousins like to blame America for everything we live in their shadow. A destabilized America is not a good way to be at a time of real global crisis. That’s my concern.”
