Last year rabble.ca was the first to use iBooks Author for a long-form journalism project and this year we are again presenting a multimedia version of the best of rabble for the iPad. You can download the 2013 edition for free right here. Special thanks to Matt Dusenbury, Derrick O’Keefe, Michael Stewart and Kim Elliott!
rabble is not just about reading. We have a vibrant podcast network, extensive photos, and great video (from original commentary, to live feeds, to best of the net). This multimedia best of rabble version has all the articles you find in the book version plus video, photographs, podcasts, and audio clips. It also features some cool dynamic boxes with babble threads that explore issues in the book.
So read a piece by Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois and watch him give a talk. Read Judy Rebick’s piece on the year in politics and watch a video of her speaking on Occupy. Read Murray Dobbin on taxes and hear a podcast interview with economist James Henry. You get the idea.
Don’t forget you are invited to our best of rabble 2013 book launches in Toronto and Vancouver and that you can get a copy of the print version of the best of rabble as a supporting member of rabble.ca.
