Harper and company would love for us to stop paying attention. Big oil would love for us to stop reporting on the tar sands. Big business would love for us to stop talking about labour rights.
Not going to happen. As long as we are around we will tell the stories that need to be told. As long as we are around we will be a voice for positive change.
Thousands of people read rabble.ca — at no cost — each day*. But we can’t do it without community support. Will you join our community of supporters right now?
Our annual supporting membership drive ends this Friday, July 12, and we still need about 50 more people to pitch in to make our goal of 200 new members. It takes just a few minutes and a few dollars to make a real difference.
Five dollars a month is what we are asking of people to keep us going. Monthly donations provide us with funds we can count on, something especially important for a non-profit like us. This kind of support is so important to us, we sweetened the deal.
We partnered with some friends to offer a great “thank you” gift for those that donate five dollars a month — a free print magazine subscription. You can pick from great titles like Canadian Dimension, Our Times, and The New Internationalist. If you give at least $8/month we will also send you Best of rabble.ca, 2013 edition.
If you are already a supporter, first our sincere thanks. Second, please pass this request on to a friend or use this “tell a friend” tool to spread the word.
You can support us right here: www.rabble.ca/membership.
Thank you to all supporters who keep rabble alive.
