As we gear up for an important federal election, nothing is more important than getting out to doors, talking to people, hearing what they say, and building a movement for what we want. Elections are about people, and getting people to vote is about organizing.
The organizing game is a fantastic way to test your skills. You can download the game or play it online in English or in Spanish. If you don’t agree with an answer, no problem, just have a rationale for why you don’t agree and test out what they recommend and what you think in real time as you canvass. There is no absolute right answer in organizing, just figuring out good questions and listening.
If you want to know you developed this great game, it was developed by a group of organizations. CompassPoint Nonprofit Services is the overall project manager and fiscal agent. Kinection is designing and developing the Organizing Game. The Center for Third World Organizing is providing organizing content and expertise. The Waitt Family Foundation, the Marguerite Casey Foundation, and the Community Technology Foundation have provided funds for the project.
